
The EUREC Office team is actively involved in various EU-funded projects that promote research ethics, research integrity, and responsible research and innovation. In addition to networking and stakeholder engagement, the team undertakes critical tasks such as ethical analysis and the development of training and capacity-building tools.

Dirk Lanzerath is the Managing Director of EUREC Office. With a rich academic background in both philosophy and biology, he is a leading expert in research ethics and integrity. Dirk serves on numerous ethics committees. Additionally, he is a board member of the Embassy of Good Science, where he contributes to promoting ethical practices in scientific research.
Dorothee Güth is Administrative Manager at EUREC Office. She is responsible for the liaison between the EUREC Office, the Board and the Network as well as other stakeholders. She is the contact person for the European Commission.
Lisa Tambornino manages the EUREC Office team and is involved as Research Project Manager in several EU-funded projects on research ethics and integrity. With a PhD in Philosophy and a background in Psychology and Law, she brings a deep understanding of ethical challenges to her work, particularly in the fields of biomedical research and research with new and emerging technologies. Lisa is a certified research integrity trainer and an active member of a German research ethics committee.
Lisa Häberlein is Project Coordinator and Co-Team Manager. Her work in EU-funded projects focuses on the implementation and operationalisation of research ethics and research integrity, as well as on trust in science, open science, institutional change, and technological innovation. She contributes to project goals through training development and delivery, stakeholder engagement, and the integration of ethical analysis into research design and implementation. At the EUREC Office, she also oversees EUREC’s social media strategy and newsletter.
Her academic background is in philosophy, interdisciplinary ethics, and education. She is also actively involved in the Departments of Medical Ethics and Human Rights at FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg.
Jūratė Lekstutienė is a Research Project Manager at EUREC Office. She is also a university lecturer and has a decade of experience working in a research ethics committee in Lithuania. Jūratė's research interests include health-related research ethics, biobanking, and the ethics of new and emerging technologies. She holds a Master of Law from Vilnius University, a Master of Science in Bioethics from Clarkson University Graduate School and a PhD in Public Health (Bioethics) from Vilnius University.
Daniel Pizzolato works as a Research Project Manager at EUREC Office. In addition, he is a post-doctoral researcher and RI-trainer at the Centre for Biomedical Ethics and Law at KU Leuven. His research interests encompass research ethics and integrity, training, and clinical trials. Daniel holds a PhD in Biomedical Sciences from KU Leuven and a Master of Bioethics from the same institution, along with a Master's degree in Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Technologies from the University of Padua.
Carly Seedall is a Research Project Manager at EUREC Office. She has contributed to PREPARED, RE4GREEN, and TechEthos. She holds a Master of Arts in Russian, East European, and Eurasian Studies from Stanford University and a Master of Arts in Evaluation from the University of Saarland.
Mathieu Rochambeau is a Research Project Manager at EUREC Office. He has contributed to the projects VERITY, STRATEGIC, RE4GREEN, ROSiE and SOPs4RI. His academic background includes a Master in Political Science from the Charles University in Prague, as well as two Bachelors, in History and Sociology, from the Strasbourg University.
Elena Lazutkaite is a Research Project Manager at EUREC, bringing a unique interdisciplinary perspective to the AIOLIA and Re4Green projects. She began her career in animal sciences and later expanded her academic focus, completing a PhD in critical theory and cultural studies at the University of Nottingham. At EUREC, Elena uses her diverse background to inform projects designed to advance ethical principles while achieving scientific and practical breakthroughs.
Nicole Föger is Policy Advisor at EUREC Office and manages the coordination of the SIMPLIFY project with Lisa Häberlein. She has a PhD in Molecular Biology and has focused on research integrity and research ethics since 2010. Her previous roles include Managing Director of the Austrian Agency for Research Integrity (OeAWI), Chair of the European Network of Research Integrity Offices (ENRIO) and membership on the Governing Board of the World Conferences on Research Integrity Foundation (WCRIF). Additionally, she has contributed to several EU-funded projects on research integrity and research ethics as coordinator, project partner or member of the advisory board.
